Confession Time

I am a really just a big kid at heart. That's why I spent my 27th birthday making Dole Whip and Churro's from scratch. Well, I helped (nothing like having a culinary student for a roomie!)

I'm a big Disney fan, so if I couldn't go to Disneyland for my birthday, I thought why not make my favorite disney treats at home. It was pretty spectacular.

Here's another confession. I am a huge Harry Potter fan. A, read all the books 4 times, go to Harry Potter themed events, want to get married at the Wizarding World kind of fan.

I may be kidding about the getting married thing, maybe. But like I said I'm a big fan. I started reading the books when I was 13 and I never stopped. They are a huge part of my childhood, and I love sharing that love with my students.

I had some huge Potter fans in my class last year. Every Thursday I would eat with the kids in the lunchroom, and many times we talked about Harry Potter. Our favorite parts, parts that confused us, debating over whether Snape and Draco were actually evil, or just caught in a bad situation.

So when I bought some ADORABLE Harry Potter clip art the other day, I got to creating. I'm offering these up as freebies because I realize this is a sort of niche market. Hopefully someone else finds these useful.

I am DYING at how cute this turned out. Harry Potter themed attendance for the smart board.

This is part of a subject and predicate sentence building activity.

So if you're a fellow Potter fan (or know some kiddo's who are) You can download these in my brand spanking new TPT store for free!

If you download, don't forget to leave me some feedback.

So anyone else got any childhood favorites they still love and want to share?

  2. Your blog is so stinkin' cute . . . I love those little monster/aliens so much. And, I must say, there's nothing like a warm and oh-so sugary churro to brighten your day :). Glad I found you . . .

    1. Thanks!

I just checked out your blog and store and realized I downloaded your scavenger hunt activity a few weeks ago. It was super fun and the kids loved it. So Thanks again!
