Pinspired!

So like many others, pinterest has really been a major source of inspiration for me. So I'm making a list of all the things I've pinned that I want to get around to making this summer.

First of all this cute birthday board originally found here http://pencilspaperandpd.blogspot.com/

I love the way the kids pictures are incorporated. and this is perfect for hanging on my closet door.

I love the clear bins and bright labels, and how organized it is and basically everything. I want students to be able to grab these bins when they need craft supplies and take them to their tables.

And this of course, I've seen this everywhere so I don't know where it originally came from but I found it here http://www.lessonswithlaughter.com/2012/06/colorful-toolbox-organizer.html

My desk is a disaster right now with random supplies everywhere. I am not an organized person, so I think this would help me.

*Edit* Here's a bonus picture of me at my messy, messy unorganized desk.

My best friend came to visit in November and she was so excited to see me in my classroom she just HAD to take a picture of me at my desk. It had been a long day.

Those two orange cups are filled with random supplies, pencils, scissors, markers, glue stickers etc. Behind the tissue box is a wire rack thats supposed to hold student work, it also holds random things. Glue, books, papers. I have a serious organization problem lol. That's a main goal for next year.

Finally I want to say thank you to my new followers. I just started blogging so every time I get a new follower or a comment I am a happy, happy girl!

  1. I want to make that birthday calendar, but I'm afraid too. My school is HIGH mobility, so I think I'd have to take pictures of the kids individually... or I'd be changing it monthly. I ended last school year with only 9 kids I started with in August... out of 18. It's crazy and sad :( I bought my toolbox thingy-majig today. I got excited seeing all the posts today from other teachers making theirs. I can't wait to start mine tomorrow!

  2. Wow, that sounds like it must be tough, having to get to know new kids all the time.

Where did you get the toolbox thingy btw? I can't find one anywhere!

P.S. I'm a new follower of your blog! Thanks for visiting mine!
