Monday Made it!!

It's Monday Made it time again!

This week I worked on my supply caddies. The first year I did communal supplies, but they were ALWAYS messy, things were missing, I was not a fan. Last year I tried personal supplies. Also not a fan, some kids kept their things immaculate, others always had to borrow supplies because they couldn't find them. So this is what I am trying this year. Hopefully it is the solution to my woes.

I was inspired by Kristin at ladybugs teacher files supplies system from the previous year.

I bought clear shoe bins at target and got to work on my labels. I have six tables. Each one will have a color and a number.

The big labels are for the outside of the bins. The smaller labels will go on each of the plastic cups. I will number all of the supplies and hopeful this will combat the issue of missing supplies. If we find a stray marker we will know where it belongs.

I am not going to have these caddies out all day. They will have a separate place to keep their pencils. If  we are going to do a craft or other activity that requires these supplies (crayons, colored pencils, markers, scissors, glue sticks)  the supplies manager will go get the supplies and put them on their table.

I stuck the labels on with velcro. I'm sure there is a better way but I couldn't find it. I tried spray adhesive, and mod podge but it didn't work.

I also put velcro on the bottom of the cups so they don't move around. That means kids can also take the cups out if necessary.

Cute right?

If you would like my labels you can pick them up at my TPT store for free! If you download please, please, please rate me!

Last but not least here's a final plug for you to enter my giveaway. It's a good one with a $25 dollar TPT gift certificate up for grabs. It ends tomorrow so enter while you still can!

  1. So so cute! I wonder if clear contact paper would work to stick them on? I like the velcro idea too.

  7. oh my gosh, I was wicked excited to see my photo on here--thanks!! I really do love that system and am doing the same this year, just with some different containers I have. I love how your labels came out--so eye-catching and pretty! I stuck mine on with clear packing tape (on the cups) and they stayed nicely for the year...actually were kind of hard to take off. Happy summer! :)
